Contemporary Classics

Maeden is an Amsterdam-based brand of contemporary classic bags, shaped by a no-nonsense Dutch sensibility and a quiet, considered approach to design. Every piece begins with a study of material, proportion and form, and is made in Italy. The shapes are archetypal: a tote, a hobo, a crossbody, reduced to what the leather and the construction need. Each bag is cut, stitched and finished in Florence. Maeden is sold through a selection of boutiques and department stores worldwide.

Creative Direction

Under the creative direction of Christian Heikoop, we bring new forms together with traditional craftsmanship. In 2024, Christian received the ANDAM Accessories Award for his innovative use of leather and craft.
